We are currently seeking an Administrative Support I (12 Month Contract) to support Reception team with customer documentation. The successful candidate will work full-time hours (35 hours/per week) in our St. John, NL office.


Your Job
As an Administrative Support I, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable professional insurance experience by providing administrative assistance to our various business units. Organise and prepare documents for distribution, mailing and filing

  • Perform mail and reception tasks as well as other office related duties as required
  • Document information effectively to ensure that your work is transferrable to your colleagues
  • Provide legendary customer service to both our external and internal clients on the phone and in written correspondence
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Direct inquiries and assignments to the appropriate individual or unit
  • Process and verify data
  • Perform other administration duties and assistant other departments as assigned

Your Skills

  • High School or College Diploma including business/administration training
  • 1 – 3 years of administrative or customer service work experience
  • Ability to perform at a superior level with respect to both accuracy and volume of work completed
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service
  • Eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions
  • Self-driven and capable of working on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Agile and flexible to changing business needs
  • Able to foster strong working relationships in a collaborative team environment

Responsibilities

  • Assist existing clients with their home and auto insurance needs
  • Upsell insurance to existing clients by phone and in person

  • High school diploma (post-secondary education is an asset)
  • Previous sales, customer service and/or call centre experience
